I can tell you bowfa without crystal armour is really bad dps unless you have insane rng. It may be better than rcb but no where close to acb with opal. The biggest drawback with Masori is that Bowfa exists. When using Bowfa together with crystal armor, it's really only second to Tbow. So for most late-game content, you're going to be better off using Bowfa + Crystal than Masori + any weapon that isn't Tbow (exceptions may apply with niche weapons like DHCB).That said bowfa IS 100% worth the grind overall(+10 max hit iirc with eagle eye). I'd say plenty better than rcb, prolly gonna be a bit of a struggle if you wanna do ranged only zulrah for example., Crystal Armour recolours! For the uninitiated, both the Blade of Saeldor and the Bow of Faerdhinen can be recoloured using crystals from Lliann's Wares in Prifddinas to match the emblems of the different Elvish clans. It only makes sense that you should be able to recolour Crystal Armour in the same way! It’s 3% better than blowpipe/arma/runedart (arma is better than void w/no defence drain) at vorkath when using void. Is there any insight on the new bow without ..., Also, if we move to bosses with higher range defence it will be better for BowFa, even without crystal armor. Armadyl Crossbow does not beat BowFa without crystal at any raid level it looks like, at least for Zebak. Note also there are almost certainly better ways to spend the GP versus the minor improvement you get from ACB (29m) over DCB (1m).
