I work for a furniture retailer and get the chance to try out a variety of chairs for days at a time. Personally, I prefer chairs with the mesh support such as the Aeron, Cosm or Mirra (all by Herman Miller). However, some of my coworkers feel differently. I'm of the opinion that most chairs on the market are perfect for someone out there.

The GOOD office chairs support ergonomic adjustability while gaming chairs sacrifice a bit of adjustability and ergonomics for looks. Size felt small as I was used to chairs with more real estate. Felt like more of my leg and back were exposed to the air and I'm just 5'8. The seat was bucket shaped, so it didn't go well with my preference of widening my legs in a V shape. Two things you need to do: get a sit/stand desk. It may not be high enough for you to work standing, but you can put risers to get an extra inch or two from it.
