My 2002 VTX 1800R rear end holds a whopping 4 ounces of gear oil. It's easy to change, and besides the fact I rode the bike to warm it up for the engine oil and filter change, my hands are already dirty anyway. No matter what brand of oil/lube you buy, it's still cheaper than the oil wetted parts it protects. Share.
