When I bought my 2017 Transit 350 HD, both rear-wheel ABS sensors were damaged from a brake repair shop not paying when lifting the rear axle and pinched the wires between the axle and jack. I was getting ABS and Hill Start Assist failure messages/OBD codes. After replacing the sensors The Hill Start Assist failure message disappeared.
