The old Jeep's with carbs used a mechanical pump that wouldn't fit on a SBC. Sense it's a 95, if the stock pump in the tank is still functional then you just need a pressure reducer specific for carbs. 1. Changing the fuel pressure regulator. 2. Pulling the vacuum line from the FPR. 3. Testing the return line at multiple spots by hooking up a line into a container - no change in fuel rail pressure. 4. Removing the gas cap.
