Sistering joists or alternative. I'm working on an old family house constructed in 1946 and the next phase of the project is going to be attempting to reduce deflection and flooring issues. The house is nearly a perfect 30'x30' square with "true" 2x8 floor joists spaced between 21" - 24" apart. And spanning approximately 15'.
