I thought it might be due to speed so i tried a slow turn but it was still crap. Guess ill just pull it around for now or launch with sails then switch to motor.

This is an idea for the program designer. Lets say a person has a 1 x 3 to a 2 x 3 raft. Extra sails will do nothing for you. However, if you have say anything equal to or up to a 2 x 4 to a 4 x 4 one extra sail will help it go faster. If you have anything bigger then a 4 x 4 then 3 sails will increase the speed. Many videos and guides exist on the basics and several designs, but I've tooled around with some builds and come up with one that I think works the best and "grows with you". Start out with a single segment, on land, and put a floor on it. Do NOT put it in the water yet!This is the most common way to transport big things like sharks, tyres, container walls. Tyres and Buoy Balls make a thinner raft that floats slightly higher, making it slightly easier to pass over top of shallow rocks/choral. Barrel and Stick rafts are thicker and more likely to get stuck on shallow rocks.If you are at level 7 I believe you get all the parts back; but if only at level 2 or 3 you may only get about 1/3rd or 1/2 of the raw materials back. The physics applied to rafts has always been terrible, the ability of sharks (and waves) to tip over built rafts should be toned down.
