Yeah they are extremely hard to kill. I tried to a couple of times, completely neglecting it like you did but it just would stay alive, so frustrating lol and the first tama I got in it, even after caring for it a lot, it died as an adult. I was super upset. It does die but it’s super hard to kill (as you experienced).
