Fold 3 screen protector peeling

The only issue with my Z Fold 3 is the inner screen protector creasing (see photo). I'm afraid Samsung will reject the full trade-in price due to how bad it looks. I'm wondering if I should just send the phone as-is or remove the screen protector at my own risk (the phone is out of warranty for free replacement).
